Analysis of the European funding landscape reveals a fundamental change
The M3E funding report, available in English, illustrates the change in European electromobility funding between 2023 and 2025: away from general purchase subsidies and toward targeted, strategically oriented instruments. Funding policy is serving less and less to purely accelerate the market and increasingly industrial and climate policy goals, shaped by new national approaches and a changed role of the EU.
For market participants, this means that they must strategically align their investments and funding management. The EUROPEAN EV INCENTIVE LANDSCAPE REPORT 2023–2025 provides companies, investors, and political decision-makers with a good overview of the current and future direction of electromobility funding in Europe. In particular, three central pillars can be identified on which future funding policy is based.
Analysis of the funding instruments of selected European countries
Consideration of the funding policy principles and guidelines of the EU Commission
Outlook 2025-2030
Guidance for future-proof decision-making
